Katherine is leading the team. She is Director of Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering and also leads a research group in bioengineering. Her expertise spans engineering, biology and physics.

Sam is carrying out the technical development of our innovation. He trained as a biologist and before joining the team here he worked for a start-up company that selectively bred black soldier flies.
